The Mini Makeover

Dye it yourself is cheaper, unless you don't do it well. You should post some front, side and back shots of your current doo and give us a bit to think of some options for you... I'm all about options... LOL
If you're getting it cut professionally you should get it dyed too. They might give you suggestions that are awesome that you'd never think of yourself. And advice for keeping it up. Keeping my hair red is the bane of my existence right now.

The red dye, when I have it put in, always stays in my hair... BUT I am not a redhead... It's only an underlying color.

That said, I think salon color will probably look best. I'm afaid of box color because I (1) don't think it looks natural and (2) I know I'd manage to screw it up somehow and all my hair would fall out.

It's funner (that's a word I Swear) if you go to a salon. Sit back, relax and when you walk out you'll feel brand spanking new! ;)
i think you should treat yourself..there's something about getting all fancy at a salon that'll make you feel extra hot. plus, if you're planning a color change, i think it's always best to get it done at a salon first and you can always do your roots at home.
[this is good]
Sounds great! You will be amazed at how great this makes you feel! It will boost your confidence and be worth all the money you spend. I personally say get it done at the salon but that's because I'm a paranoid CRAZIE when it comes to my hair and I refuse to do anything to it myself! lol You may be braver than I am though ;)
Yeah, and so this morning I woke up with this bug bite on the back of my neck. A spider munched on me or something! But I don't want to go in with this thing on my neck.
You also don't have to dye all of your hair. You might just want to add colour highlights that would brighten up your own natural hair colour. Those are always better done by a hair stylist.
